Relaxation

For this, try to sit somewhere peaceful, either in your room or any other place, without distraction. Start with a few deep breaths until you feel that you have calmed down, and feel relaxed and light.

Meditation

There are various ways to meditate. You can close your eyes, concentrate on a thought or an object in your mind, and then picture it. Keep concentrating on the thought or the object, making sure it is a happy thought or an object that is associated with some good memories.

You can even lie down straight, facing upwards towards the sky. Count backwards from 100 to 0 slowly, giving each number a two second gap. Try to focus on the count till you reach 0. Once you reach 0, once again think about the happy thoughts or the object that we talked about in the previous example.

There are a number of different methods to opt for as well. Try meditating every day, for at least 10 to 20 minutes for the best results.

Your Posture and Stance

Try to maintain a straight posture with whatever you do, whether you are sitting at work or walking home, or doing anything else that you may want to do. In other words, don’t attempt at doing something lazily or half heartedly. Always try to be involved in what you do 100%, and face the task with maximum confidence.

Positive Thinking and Other Activities

Try to be positive with whatever you do. Think of handling any task with the maximum confidence, which will in turn make the job easier. Make every thought that comes to your head a positive thought, which in turn would make it a habit for your mind to stay positive.

Try to devote time to other activities as well, like listening to inspirational music, writing, exercises, watching quality programs on the TV, etc. And don’t miss out on at least eight hours of sleep each night.
